Despite the vast number of currents in contemporary painting, classicism remains relevant. Artist Aydemir Saidov is a representative of the classical school. He works in genres such as still life, landscape, and portrait, but his greatest fame comes from his figurative paintings depicting the nude female body.





Aydemir Saidov was born on March 29, 1979, in Tikhoretsk, Krasnodar Krai. Aydemir comes from a family of artists. His father, Seyfula Saidov, was a recognized master of painting in the USSR and a member of the prestigious Union of Artists. Their father instilled in his children a love of art in all its forms.



From early childhood, Aydemir Saidov drew, and at age 11, he entered a school for gifted children. There, the boy demonstrated his talent, winning every competition and contest. In 1994, at the age of 15, Saidov was accepted to the Krasnodar Art School. There, he continued to win first place, this time among students.



After receiving his diploma from the school in 2000, Aydemir Saidov continued his education. He entered the I.E. Repin St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts. In 2005, the student won a painting competition and received an apartment as a prize.



During his studies, Aydemir Saidov earned money by selling still lifes and landscapes. The young artist's paintings were in demand in St. Petersburg galleries. In 2003, he met his future wife, Marina, who, by chance, was painting a landscape from life next to the artist.



In 2007, a significant event occurred in Aydemir Saidov's life. He was offered a partnership by London auction house Christie's Fine Art Auctions. Since then, the artist has worked with the world's largest auction houses. Aydemir Saidov's paintings are exhibited in museums and private collections in the UK, USA, Germany, and China.
