Sergey Vladimirovich Dorofeev was born in 1969 in Zaporozhye. He started drawing from early childhood, graduated from the Zaporozhye art school and worked in the studio of the artist V.A. Piskunova.

Since 1990, the artist has participated in various exhibitions. Sergey Dorofeev works in various genres (landscape, still life, marinas, floristry and interior design) and in a variety of techniques (he paints a lot in oils, but also works with watercolors with great pleasure).
