It's not uncommon for a beloved hobby to unexpectedly turn into a profession. But it doesn't always lead to great success. For Swede Joakim Karlsson, things worked out just fine. For a long time, he saw photography as a way to escape the hustle and bustle of life, but then he quietly became a Master with a capital M. His images can now be seen on advertising posters and in glossy magazines. But Karlsson doesn't just do commercial photography. He takes beautiful erotic shots for his own pleasure.

Joakim Karlsson was born in 1979 in Sweden, in a provincial town surrounded by picturesque forests and cliffs. As a child, he drew a lot, inspired by the beauty of his native nature. And in 9th grade, he picked up a camera for the first time and became fascinated with photography. At that time, all the settings had to be adjusted manually, but this didn't faze the teenager. He quickly mastered the technology and even taught himself how to print photos.

Karlsson didn't take his hobby seriously until 2007, when he tried his hand at portrait photography. Photographing people made him feel like an artist, and that was the turning point. Joachim began collaborating with several Swedish magazines, and his photography career took off.

Now the photographer recalls how difficult it was for him to work with serious clients at first. He had no formal training and learned everything the hard way. But from the torment of a confused amateur, a confident professional was born. For several years now, Karlsson has been among the most sought-after fashion photographers in Europe.

Four years ago, the photographer tried his hand at erotic photography. It turned out he also had a talent for capturing sensual images, something he never suspected. While his archive doesn't contain many nude works, Karlsson doesn't consider himself an expert. However, his photographs are highly regarded at exhibitions and are readily available.
