Each artist chooses their own way to convey their thoughts to the viewer. Australian photographer Sarah Bahbah creates images that explore emotions and relationships. She's not afraid to be candid and doesn't shy away from eroticism—many of her works shock the viewer with their openness.

Sarah Bahbah was born and raised in Australia, the daughter of Palestinian immigrants. Even as a child, Sarah felt a passion for visual art—she drew and photographed, boldly experimenting with styles and directions. After graduating from high school, she enrolled in college, where she studied creative advertising.

Bahba established herself as a professional in her first year. She began photographing music festivals such as Firefly. Sarah's photos and videos from major music events were popular with the public, but didn't make her famous. The Australian's first serious recognition came after her provocative photo project "Sex to Go."

Sara became in demand as a photographer, taking portraits and photo shoots, as well as shooting for youth magazines. At the same time, she developed as a blogger. In 2016, Elite Daily named her the best Instagram blogger of the year. However, her work has not been without criticism – many consider her work overly erotic and even pornographic.

From Misunderstood Genius to Master

One of the most high-profile scandals in the artist's career occurred in Sydney. Sarah was invited as a designer and photographer to decorate a restaurant and create its website. The business owners were delighted with the artist's work. However, some critics, visitors, and internet users were not impressed with the project.

They felt that naked women in the dining area and on the website of a fried chicken establishment were too provocative and even vulgar. A whole online campaign against the artist unfolded. Perhaps for another artist, this would have been a blow to their reputation, but not for Sarah. Thanks to the publicity, she became even more popular, and her income skyrocketed.

In Sarah's works, people are more than just models. They are direct participants in the action, infusing it with emotion and dynamism. Everything Bakhba does is interesting and unusual, which is why she is highly regarded in the worlds of art and advertising. Today, the artist enjoys immense respect among her colleagues and a huge following.

Bahba's skills have been highly praised by brands such as Gucci, Condé Nast, GQ, Sony Music, and Capitol Records. She is also invited to work on music videos. One of Sarah's most recent projects was the music video for Kygo's song "Think About You."

Many Sarah Bahba's photographs are revealing, but only those unfamiliar with contemporary photography and the work of Dani Lessnau would call them provocative.
