Hanto Garrucho was born in 1964 to an ordinary Spanish family. No one in his circle was connected to the arts, so his family was surprised when a passion for painting awakened in him. No one ensured that young Jose received an art education, and he had to master all the intricacies of working with oils, watercolors, and gouache on his own.



Although Hanto Garrucho is self-taught and doesn't hold any prestigious titles, his work is valued on par with that of venerable masters. The artist never pursued honors or money, believing that an artist should create for the glory of inspiration and art.



Hanto Garrucho's realistic paintings subtly transport us to a world full of sensations, ranging from erotic and sensual, yet respectful of the female nude. In his paintings, women and landscapes often merge, blending their natural beauty into one.
