The beauty of a kiss in a photo series by British photographer Andy Barter (10 photos)

British photographer Andy Barter created a series of photographs called "Kiss." These images demonstrate harmony through the union of complementary opposites. Visually, the outlines of kissing couples form a yin and yang symbol.

Each of these images took the photographer nearly two hours to create. In the photographs of the kissing couples, the men's shoulders initially appeared too large and dominant in the frame, so the photographer had to adjust their position until the correct angle and balance were achieved.

All the models in the frame, except one (number 5), were in real-life relationships at the time of the shoot.
