Dogs and their belongings: an American woman showed the essence of a dog's life (7 photos)

American Alicia Rius loves animals and photographs them professionally. In her project "A Dog's Life," she decided to create more than just banal portraits—collages that tell canine stories and convey their individuality through the small details that make up their lives and happiness. At first, you see the dog and its gaze, but after looking at the objects around it, you begin to see meaning in that gaze.







Neurotic

Bear, English Bulldog, 4.5 years old. This strong guy is incredibly stubborn, and when he doesn't get what he wants, he gets very upset and starts chewing everything in sight. Therefore, most of Bear's belongings are chewed-up items belonging to his owners. For his stubbornness, hot temper, and fiery temper, Alicia nicknamed the bulldog "Neurotic."

Old Lady

Magda, a Cocker Spaniel-Dachshund mix, is now at a respectable age – she's over 13 years old. When old Magda developed a skin disease, her former owners surrendered her to a shelter. Fortunately, a caring woman took her in and surrounded her with love and care. This dog has been through veterinary clinics, undergoing extensive treatment, and receiving countless injections. Magda even has her own small respirator.



Princess

Lola Rose is a white Maltese Shih Tzu, one and a half years old. She's a very spoiled dog, even having her own Instagram account. At home, she's loved and treated like a princess.



Beauty Queen

Zig is a 3-year-old Afghan Hound. She spends most of her time at dog shows, often winning. She embodies the ideal standards of her breed. It's no wonder her kit includes so many beauty accessories. It's surprising that it even includes a mirror.



Fetch Dog

Australian Shepherd named Knuckles, 7 years old. He is a very intelligent and energetic dog with an irresistible urge to retrieve. Knuckles loves to catch Frisbees and often competes in dog fetch competitions.



Stray

Marmaduke, a pit bull and shar pei mix, 7.5 years old. He used to live on the street and now lives in a shelter. Patiently waiting for someone to take him home, the photographer decided to depict him with the things he found while scavenging through trash cans to survive.
