Dancing little bears, climbing trees, playing in the sandbox, and other touching scenes from the everyday lives of the forest's great and small masters are captured by a photographer who is passionate about photographing wildlife.
Valtteri Mulkahainen is a physical education teacher from Sotkamo, Finland, and also a wildlife photographer. His photography takes place in the taiga forests, where he can patiently observe brown bears from a hidden spot. Sometimes luck smiles, and the photos turn out truly amazing. One day, the photographer encountered three bear cubs standing on their hind legs, seemingly dancing in a circle.
"The cubs behaved like little children. They played and even wrestled in a friendly manner. I felt like I was at a playground in front of my house, where children were frolicking. At one point, three of them stood on their hind legs and started pushing each other. It was as if they were dancing in a circle. I photographed the cubs with the mother bear all evening and spent the rest of the night reporting," said Mulkahainen. He was in a hide 50 meters from the action and had an excellent view.
