A quiet life. Boris Mikhalevkin (1930-2011) (37 photos)
Photo chronicle of the life of ordinary people
The works of the master of genre photography Boris Mikhalevkin were imbued with the best features of the sixties and a kind attitude towards the world. He is spoken of as a photographer who knew how to take a “big” picture without sensations, surrealism, eccentricities and fantasies. During his forty years of photographic practice, Mikhalevkin captured quietly flowing life in kind village scenes, admiring portraits, strict urban landscapes and meaningful still lifes.
