One of the most successful actors of our time, Brad Pitt, is sure that his career is nearing its end. He now spends more and more time working as a producer and is much more selective in his approach to roles. He recently starred in probably one of the strangest photo shoots of his career and spoke in an interview about his life, hobbies and addictions.





The 58-year-old actor became the hero of the August issue of GQ magazine, giving the publication a rather lengthy interview. In it, he spoke about loneliness, struggles with alcoholism and smoking, and also mentioned that he felt like his acting career was nearing the end.

He also spoke with American writer Otessa Moshfegh, making several notable statements, including about his career.

The conversation took place in the house that Pitt bought back in 1994, when he made his first money in cinema.

Pitt has several properties in Los Angeles and beyond. It's a beach house near Santa Barbara and a modernist glass-and-steel residence, also in the Hollywood Hills.

In the late 2010s, Pitt was approached by a certain person who said that treasures allegedly hidden back during the Crusades were buried on the territory of the French winery owned by the actor, Chateau Miraval. It all turned out nothing, but the idea absorbed Pitt for a long time. Although now he doesn’t understand how he even managed to believe in such a thing.

I was obsessed. For about a year I could only think about this, I was so captivated by it all. I guess it was because I grew up in the Ozark Mountains, and there were always a lot of stories about hidden gold. But the whole idea, of course, was very stupid. The only thing that was really exciting was the treasure hunt itself.

One of Pitt's famous creative outlets is the wine he produces at his Provence estate, Chateau Miraval.



In 2008, he and Jolie bought a thousand-acre property that produces world-class rosé wine. The hobby turned into a multimillion-dollar business, and in 2014, Pitt and Jolie got married there.
