Artist Tatyana Yushmanova was born in Moscow in 1979, into a family of mathematicians. Over the past hundred years, everyone in the artist’s family was mathematicians, physicists, and chemists, and she is even more grateful to her parents for the opportunity to choose her own path and support.
In 1997 she graduated with honors from the Moscow Academic Art Lyceum at the Russian Academy of Arts, and in 2003 from the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (and again with honors).
The artist lives and works in Moscow, but in her development, those months of childhood and youth that she spent in a remote Yaroslavl village, where her parents bought a house, were of particular importance. Life in nature and communication with ordinary Russian people laid the foundation for my love for the Russian outback.
The artist’s works are in private collections and galleries in Russia, England, Germany, Denmark, Austria, the USA, as well as in the MAHL and RAZHVIZ museums.
In addition to painting, the artist is engaged in book graphics.
Included in the album “1000 Russian Artists”, publishing house “White City”.
