Caesar Lima created the photo project "The Unusual Beauty" with the goal of demonstrating that beauty is a profound concept. He invites models and ordinary people with rare skin conditions to take part in photo shoots: congenital melanocytic nevus, which causes large pigment spots, and vitiligo, a skin discoloration caused by pigment loss.

While Lima's lens focuses on skin conditions and unusual birthmarks, the photographer's goal is not to show how these people are different from others, but to showcase their beauty beyond the norm.

César Lima's unique photo project proves once again that beauty cannot be standardized. People whose skin is marked by nature itself are unique and very attractive.
