Photography classic Vincent Peters and his sensual glamour

For thirty years, German photographer Vincent Peters has been among the top fashion photographers. He's a master who never compromises his convictions for the sake of popular culture. And despite all odds, he's received standing ovations and permission to shoot as he sees fit. Peters has worked with publications such as Vogue, GQ, The Face, Dazed & Confused, and Numero, and his lens has featured supermodels such as Eva Herzigova and Irina Shayk.

Despite his high status in the fashion industry, Vincent Peters remains a very humble man. The stars he works with appreciate this, and a true friendship develops between them and the photographer. Peters enjoys warm relationships with Monica Bellucci, Michael Fassbender, Mickey Rourke, and Penélope Cruz.

Today, Peters is as friendly and patient in his work as he was at the beginning of his career in the 1980s. Back then, as an unknown photographer from Bremen, he learned the art of photography on his own, through trial and error. Without formal training, he achieved everything through patience and hard work. Perhaps that's why Peters, a recognized master of photography, still maintains a low profile among the professional crowd.

Vincent Peters works in the US, UK, and continental Europe, but prefers to live in Ibiza. The photographer chose the quietest part of the island, away from the din of the club scene. Peters is reluctant to give interviews, but is always open and honest with journalists.

Once, when asked who his mentor and inspiration was, the master replied that it was... the black-and-white television from his childhood. It was studying the image on the screen that provided the photographer with the theoretical foundation. Everything else was achieved through painstaking practice.
