Gunther Hauschildt lived his entire life in Hamburg, where he was born in 1950

He began painting his own paintings in 1978 and within 4 years became a member of the Association of Professional Artists of Hamburg (in 1982).

Two years before he was recognized by the Association of Artists, he began participating in exhibitions.
