Mile Davidović, a citizen of the world, was born on November 18 under the horoscope sign - double Scorpio, in the vastness of the former Yugoslavia near the village of Hlebine - world famous for the school of naive painting (Generalić, Lacković, Kovacic, Večenaj...). After living in Podravska Slatina, he lived in Mostar and Bijeljina, where he graduated from high school, music school, and economics college. He has lived in Belgrade since 1977, where he graduated from the Higher School of Economics. In his youth he was involved in sports, folklore and modern dance. Later he worked as the head of the marketing department at Cinema News, as a cameraman at the SOS television channel, and as a reporter for the Satelit TV magazine in Athens, Greece, where he lived for six years. Mile Davidovich is the author of the first video cassette about computers in the vastness of the former Yugoslavia, as well as the book “Life Abroad”. He discovered his love for art while studying at an economics school, and then he decided to take up painting. His paintings have been exhibited in almost 300 exhibitions, personal and public, in 50 different countries, on 5 continents of the world and can be seen in many galleries in Serbia, galleries in other countries and in private collections. The artist received great recognition and many awards at international exhibitions of primitive art. He always provided his paintings and funds for humanitarian purposes. Since March 2002, thanks to Mrs. Martina Tslouet, who drew attention to his exceptional talent, he has been a member of the International Union of Primitive Art, whose center is located in Paris. From this day on, the whole world is his. Since October 2005, Mile Davidović has been Chairman of the Union of Artists of Primitive Painting, whose center is located in Belgrade.
