In the last decade of his life, the artist Ando Hiroshige did not part with his favorite themes of landscapes of Tokaido and Edo, depicting them in individual prints, fans, and books. During the last three years of Hiroshige's life, prints of his largest series, “One Hundred Views of Edo,” were gradually published.
