Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, born in 1929 in the city of Frunze, Kirghiz SSR. In 1952 he graduated from the Moscow Special Technical School “Goznak”, art department, with honors. In 1953-59 studied at the Moscow State Art Institute. IN AND. Surikov. In 1964-74 taught at the Moscow Polygraphic Institute at the art department. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists, painting department, since 1968. Worked at KZhI in 1974. Regular participant in Moscow, republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. Works in the genre of landscape, still life, portrait. Honored Member of the Nicholas and Constantine Roerich Society.

He traveled to Cuba, India, and Indonesia to work on stories. In 2003, participant of the exhibition in Jakarta (Indonesia). A large number of works are kept in museums and private collections, both in Russia and abroad: Germany, USA, Japan. Recently returned from a fruitful trip from the Philippine Islands, which resulted in an exhibition in December 2011. in Moscow, and in the spring of 2012 the paintings will fly to the Philippines.
