Arthur Thiele - German artist, painter, illustrator, decorative artist. Born November 2, 1860, died June 18, 1936.
In 1886 he married the artist Anne Louise Fischer (1861-1944)
He had two sons who also became artists. Senior Carl Arthur Walter (1884-?) - painter, graphic artist, taught at the Academy of Arts in Leipzig. The youngest son, Emil Max Fritz (1899-1971), recalled in 1969: “work was his life, he was content with little.”
Postcards, illustrations, books for children. His special loves were cats and dogs. They called him "Tile-dachshund"
