Alien landscapes of Lanzarote
Our planet hides so many stunning places! The island of Lanzarote, part of the Canary Islands, is one such place. Photographer Eleonora Costi loves to travel and couldn't miss the opportunity to visit this picturesque island of lava, craters, and volcanoes. These stunning drone shots are breathtaking!
This place is truly otherworldly in beauty. The island is part of Spain's Canary Islands off the coast of West Africa. It is famous for its rocky landscapes, white sand beaches, and volcanic scenery.
Here, they use a unique method of growing grapes—in craters about 5 meters in diameter and about 1 meter deep. Thanks to the mineral-rich soil and natural irrigation system, grapes with a unique flavor grow here. Incidentally, they are used to make Lanzarote's delicious wines.
"Red dunes, bizarre landscape relief, rocky shores against the backdrop of the endless sea—all this gives this place an otherworldly appearance," the photographer writes.
