In a Mexican town, a traditional craft has evolved into a giant "Weaving Sky"

The initiative was originally conceived in 2017 to decorate a religious festival, but it has grown into a cultural phenomenon and earned a Guinness World Record.

Thousands of hexagonal fragments are connected to form a single network covering several thousand square meters. This "sky" stretches over streets and squares, protecting passersby from the sun and creating a dynamic play of shadows—a true blend of art and craft.
