Japanese photographer who became famous for his unusual view of everyday life

His most famous project, TTP, is a series of photographs taken from the window of the dormitory in Leipzig where he studied. Over the course of five years, he observed the same table tennis table, documenting how it became a place for meeting, relaxing, playing, and even sleeping for a wide variety of people and animals.
