According to a report by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), marine life numbers have halved over the past 45 years. National Geographic photographer Brian Skerry has been monitoring them for 18 years. He has photographed many endangered underwater species off the coast of Mexico and among remote coral reefs in the central and southern Pacific Ocean.
