Fabulous Photos of Beautiful Holland That Will Take Your Breath Away (22 photos)

For some color therapy, we invite you to meet Dutch landscape photographer Albert Dros. A native of the small town of Amersfoort, Albert spent almost a year photographing landscapes and streets in the Netherlands to show how beautiful they are. With these images, he wanted to prove that everywhere there are places waiting for you to notice them.





These photographs by Albert are a tribute to the fairytale springtime in the Netherlands. His shots are reminiscent of the paintings of outstanding hyperrealists. Dros's work has been published by Time, the Huffington Post, the Daily Mail, and National Geographic.



Dros captured the magic of spring in Holland—from blooming tulip fields to picturesque windmills. Dros woke up early in the morning to photograph the landscape in the best light.

"This is the Netherlands, we're not known for 'beautiful' weather," writes Dros. "Because we often have cloudy days with heavy rain. But when you stand outside early in the morning, and the first rays of sunshine appear, and a layer of fog covers the landscape, you forget all those rainy days."
