Grossglockner – the Most Beautiful High-Altitude Road in the World (13 photos)

The Grossglockner High Alpine Road is one of the most beautiful in the Alps. It connects the Austrian states of Salzburg and Carinthia, passing through incredibly picturesque landscapes. Photographer Nikolai Gospodarek has been capturing stunning images from this road since 2008. "Every time I see these views, they appear to me in a new way. I am simply amazed by the natural beauty of this area," Nikolai said.







The road is open to traffic from May to October, and thousands of tourists travel along it every year during this time.
