30 portraits of people who are not related by blood, but look very similar (31 photos)

Canadian photographer François Brunelle has released a series of double portraits in which the subjects appear to be twins or at least close relatives. In reality, they are not related.







François has been studying the human face since 1968. He initially sought out models while traveling. But now that he's become a famous photographer, people are turning to him themselves.

The "I'm Not Like the Others!" project began in 2000, and since then, 250 pairs of lookalikes have participated.



Some come with their "mate," just to witness the resemblance they've known about for a long time. It's funny, isn't it?



Other characters meet for the first time in the photographer's studio, so it's a surprise for them. Sometimes these people later become friends.
