As we age, we often don't even notice all the small changes that happen to us day after day. In her portrait series "Personalities," London-based photographer Ana Oliveira observes how people change as they age.

Ana's models bring her photos from the past, and she tries to recreate the original pose, clothing, and overall style of the photograph. The result—a combination of images from the past and present—represents the life journey of each model.

Some diptychs show age differences of up to 60 years. It's fascinating to see how a person has changed over the years. Portraits create a remarkable sensation—you seem to be looking at a completely changed face, yet you realize it's still the same person. It must be true what they say: the eyes always stay young!
