Naked and Funny: How People Change When They Undress (15 photos)
At first glance, it might seem like Canadian photographer Dylan Hamm simply snapped two photos of randomly selected people. However, there's actually a specific logic to the way these portraits were taken: in one of the photos, the person was completely naked.
Dylan's photo project "Naked Faces" was inspired by a question he'd been asking himself for many years.
"How conscious are we of the expression our faces take on at any given moment?" he asked himself.
Through numerous portraits, he sought to show that people's faces reveal much more than they realize.

However, the project didn't bring Dylan any closer to answering his question; on the contrary, it prompted him to reflect on an even broader range of issues.
"The project evolved into a kind of investigation that is still ongoing. It led us to think about the subconscious, gender stereotypes, and how we change without realizing it, but noticeably to others," Dylan Hamm said.
