Abandoned cars in the Hawaiian jungle, a photo project by Thomas Strogalski
German photographer Thomas Strogalski created a series of photographs capturing abandoned cars in the Hawaiian jungle. He titled his project "Nature Takes Over," and these images vividly demonstrate how vulnerable humans are to the elements.
The idea for the project came to the author completely by chance during a work trip to Hawaii.
"During my five-week stay, I discovered striking rough edges in the lush and enchanting natural environment," the photographer said.

"I'm fascinated by the idea that nature will ultimately prevail over man. With complete calm and harmony, it seems to reclaim what man is trying to take from it," Strogalski mused.
