Level 80 origami: a Turkish photographer bends cities
The advent of flying drones has essentially opened up a new genre of photography. The scope for creativity is simply enormous. Turk Aydin Bayiktaş decided it would be fun to transform urban landscapes into roller coasters, where the usual coordinate system ceases to exist. These shots look like they were taken from deleted scenes in Christopher Nolan's blockbuster "Inception."
Aydin experimented with spatial dimensions on two continents. He took his first series of photographs in his native Istanbul. ![]()
