The main feature in Igor Palmin's photographs can be traced back to the early 1950s, when, having gone to take landscapes, the aspiring photographer and his classmates came across a boy with a school bag, apparently skipping school in Voronezh. "He was very calm, relaxed," the photographer recalls.
