Juan Oliphant is a talented photographer and diver from Haleiwa, Hawaii, USA. The renowned shark conservationist specializes in underwater photography. Together with model Ocean Ramsey and other daredevils, he dives into the depths to dance with dangerous predators.
Oliphant holds a degree in fine arts from Brigham Young University of Hawaii and is co-owner of One Ocean Diving and co-founder of the Water Inspired Conservation Group.
"Photography is a tool with which I can express my thoughts. A photograph is worth more than a thousand words in every language, and I try to capture as many feelings and evoke so many emotions to arouse the interest of the viewer. I want to capture and share the moments that start a conversation about animals and our connection to them.
