Residents of Tibet through the lens of Phil Borges (21 photos)
For over twenty-five years, Phil Borges has been photographing Indigenous peoples and tribes. He tries to capture in his photographs the culture and problems faced by small ethnic groups.
Phil Borges's work is exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. Among his books, published in four languages, is the photo series “Tibetan Portrait”. Photographs taken at close range not only convey the inner world of the people captured, but also say a lot about the world in which they live.
Borges also produces documentaries about indigenous culture for the Discovery Channel and National Geographic.
