Oleg Alexandrovich is one of many authors whose recognition happened quite late. For a long time, the artist’s works were known only to a narrow circle of connoisseurs. But the recognition of this painter with a Russian soul was absolutely fair. 
Borozdin comes from the northern village of Nyandoma, Arkhangelsk region. Born in 1929. The difficult childhood of a child of war did not break the boy. Despite the hardships and exhausting work, he tried to devote time to drawing, distracting himself from a complex life and finding beauty in everyday life.

After graduating from the Yaroslavl Art School in 1955, Borozdin moved to Vologda with his wife. For a long time he worked on orders from the Art Fund of the RSFSR. Accordingly, there was not much time left for my own creativity.
Only in 1991 did the first personal exhibition of Oleg Alexandrovich take place. And it was a success that brought the artist not only regional, but all-Russian fame.
In 2002, Borozdin was awarded the title Honored Artist of Russia.
The works of this master are distinguished by ideal color scheme, impeccable sense of color, and competent composition. The main character of portraiture is a Russian man - simple, familiar, spiritual. Borozdin's landscapes are mainly dedicated to the Russian North - his small homeland, which he loved so much.
The main task of the creator is to awaken light and love for beauty in souls through familiar images, which the artist accomplished perfectly.
