Tatyana Chernykh is a Belarusian artist in the genre of landscape and still life, whose style easily intertwines realism with impressionism. Her favorite themes for her paintings, filled with light and energy, are nature and rural life. Representatives of the Russian school of realism and impressionism I. Levitan, S. Zhukovsky, A. Arkhipov, A. Gritsai, F. Sychkov and the Tkachev brothers had a great influence on the artist’s work.

Tatyana's works can be seen at permanent exhibitions, as well as in art galleries in Minsk.
Her paintings smell of hot dust and meadow flowers, honey and fresh hay, a cleanly washed old wooden house and apples...
Thoughtful chickens wander around the yard and geese march in an orderly line like soldiers.
Everything is so familiar and almost forgotten. Alas, such cozy villages remain only in artists’ paintings. Time takes its toll.
