19 photos from the underwater photography competition (20 photos)
Underwater Photographer of the Year is the world’s prestigious and premier underwater photography competition, which brings together lovers of the marine world from all over the world.
Last year, lockdown restrictions may have prevented many photographers from visiting their favorite waters, but it has by no means hampered their creative juices. They were able to produce decent work and present it to the judges in 2022. Many of this year's award-winning images were shot in their home countries, and some were even taken in home pools. The winners of the competition show amazing ocean spectacles and vistas, as well as breathtaking views of sunken mines and deep-sea shipwrecks. We have selected the most interesting photographs so that you can enjoy the wonders of the ocean world.
