The best dog photos of 2018 (40 photos)

Each year, National Geographic selects the best animal photographs in its competition, showcasing the beauty and sublimity of the animal kingdom. The Kennel Club runs a similar competition, but focuses exclusively on dogs.

The winners of Dog Photographer of the Year 2018 have been announced. The competition is divided into 10 categories, including “Guide Dogs”, “Dogs in Play”, “Dog Portrait”, etc. While most of the categories were related to photography content, there was also a category called "Young Photographers", for photographers under 11 years of age.
