Born in 1947. In 1970 he graduated from the Institute of Civil Engineering, and in 1979 from the Repin Academy of Arts. A. Kurshin is a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. His works are in private collections and galleries in Russia, USA, Switzerland, Italy, Finland, France and Germany. Many years of experience as an architect, artist and restorer allow Kurshin to see the hidden beauty in the strict contours of architectural buildings, to feel the subtle lyricism of Russian landscapes, the complexity and internal dynamics of still lifes, and the psychology of portrait images. The artist's works are rhythmic in their structure and composition. The author is attentive to detail. His writing is distinguished by subtlety and delicacy.
