Artist Maria Lazareva (100 works)

Maria Lazareva was born in 1979 in Leningrad.

In 1994 she entered the St. Petersburg Art School. N.K. Roerich, worked for several years in various workshops, improving drawing techniques. In 1998, she continued her education at the I.E. Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, Faculty of Painting. In 2004 she graduated from the workshop of V.V. Sokolov.

She took part in all student collective exhibitions, as well as the exhibition “Art-Index. Artists of St. Petersburg 2004". The first personal exhibition took place as part of the Christmas Charity Exhibition in December 2004.

Maria is a talented and young painter, her name has just appeared on the horizon of outstanding artists of our time. But her skill, excellent mastery of the technique and technology of oil painting, the amazing lightness and ease of her paintings leave no doubt that the cost of Maria’s paintings will be steadily increasing in the near future. The works are in private collections in Russia and abroad: in Norway, France, China, Finland, and the USA. Recently, this artist has enjoyed particular success at world auctions.
