If the Apocalypse Comes - this is the slogan of a series of works by artist Vladimir Manokhin. His post-apocalyptic future is further enhanced by the fact that all of his paintings depict familiar Moscow locations.

Vladimir Manyukhin paints pictures of a post-apocalyptic world. Dmitry Glukhovsky's science fiction novel "Metro 2033" immediately comes to mind, set in the Moscow metro after a nuclear war. His paintings are particularly well-suited as illustrations, especially since both the novel and the paintings are set in Moscow.

It's always been interesting to watch disaster movies and scenes of familiar objects and places in unusual settings! Let's hope we never see anything like this.
