Indonesian Illustrator Transforms Strangers into Anime Characters (30 Photos)

Every person is the star of their own story called life, and one illustrator is showing people what they would look like if their story were put into the pages of a comic book.

Indonesian artist Rudi has amassed a total of over 47 thousand followers on his Instagram accounts @rudi10297 and @rudi1097 with his impressive drawings of people he transforms into anime characters.

His well-drawn images mostly consist of women, men, couples, children and even cats in their everyday poses. Some of the chosen photographs have props or backgrounds, all of which Rudy tries to transfer onto the canvas. He tries to find a variety of photographs, some of them he recreates in color, and some he makes in black and white.
