Doug Landis is a paralyzed artist who paints with his mouth (8 photos)
The amazingly strong-willed artist Doug Landis, being paralyzed, writes his paintings with his mouth, holding a pencil between his teeth. The terrible accident that happened to Doug Landis helped him discover his talent as an artist and give us many extraordinary paintings.
The disease, which is complete paralysis of four limbs, struck Doug Landis in his youth, when he was a student. Doug was fond of the sport of wrestling, and during one of the fights he was injured, after which complete paralysis of his arms and legs occurred. This is how the young man, full of strength and energy, found himself confined to a wheelchair. All hopes and plans for a bright future collapsed in one moment. Instead of a stormy and eventful life, the young man was left with only TV and books. So long and painful days passed until Doug’s brother suggested that he try his hand at art. This is how the creative activity of the future artist Doug Landis began.
