I have been drawing and sculpting since childhood. I still remember the words of my parents, “You can’t get enough of pictures, you have to have a real specialty.” In 1954 he entered the Air Force Academy, and then entered the third year of the Odessa Institute of the Marine Fleet, which he graduated in 1961. At the same time, he attended drawing classes at the Odessa Art School. Worked in the Far East (Sovgavan). He devoted all his free time to painting. I learned to write sketches.
In 1964 he returned to Odessa, where for about 20 years he headed the interior sector of the aesthetics department at the design institute.
He actively participated in all city, regional, many republican and, twice, all-Union exhibitions, where he was awarded diplomas and a laureate medal. Has personal exhibitions.
The works are kept in private collections in many countries around the world, in the Odessa Maritime Museum. Member of the Union of Marine Painters of Odessa.
Most often he works on fine-grained canvas glued to hardboard.
