A cup of aromatic coffee, a delicious bun - what else is needed to create a warm and romantic mood? The invigorating aroma of her favorite Starbucks coffee inspired Japanese artist Tomoko Shintani to create a series of drawings that she drew right in the cafe.

At first, Tomoko drew only occasionally, but gradually the collection grew and Tomoko called it Starbucks Drawings. Her drawings interact with Starbucks glass mugs and paper cups.

The heroes of Tomoko's drawings are a little boy or girl, they live in their own world together with a cat and a lamb, do the most ordinary things: study and do homework, read books and play the violin, knit socks and scarves, fall in love, give each other gifts, walk walk, meet new people and dream a lot and with pleasure.

Sometimes these themes, such as New Year's ones, are directly related to the design of cups in a coffee shop and depend on the season. But basically all this is just the imagination and mood of the artist.

Tomoko Shintani is about to publish a book of her wonderful illustrations, and preparations for this event are in full swing. You can see the entire series of positive, kind and warm drawings with a coffee mood on the Starbucks Drawings page.
