30 Historically Accurate Miniature Rooms at 1:12 Scale (30 Photos)
Miniature artist Chris Toledo has the patience of a saint and the focus of a Jedi. Each model he created exactly replicates historical buildings and interiors, and is recreated according to real architectural plans of the past.
According to the master, the process of creating miniature houses is very similar to building a real house or room. He starts with a simple layout, then creates a more detailed design in a 3D computer modeling program. When the project is ready, you can begin construction - using special tools that replicate the real ones, but in a reduced form.
Chris fell in love with creating miniatures as a child when he went to Disneyland. He liked the idea that he could make his own dollhouses from kits sold in hobby stores, and so he started from there. And then he started creating his own designs, mostly replicas of historical buildings. Gradually, from a secret hobby it turned into a lifelong endeavor and the main occupation that brings income and recognition from people.
