A Young Photographer Captures Mesmerizing Abstract Shots of the Coastline with a Drone
Put away your vacation photos and turn off notifications on your Pinterest boards filled with inspirational photography, because Gabriel Scanu from Australia is here. The 20-year-old photographer uses drones to capture incredibly beautiful images – perhaps some of the most picturesque you'll ever see.
Gabriel first captured the beauty of the Australian coastline, and now he travels the world capturing the dramatic contrast where ocean meets land.
"What I love most about drone photography is that you can capture places from angles you wouldn't normally see," the photographer told Wired.
Gabriel's sense of composition is in his blood: his father, Viv, a cinematographer, introduced him to the art of capturing real life when he was just 12 years old.
Gabriel recently returned from a trip to the United States, where he captured recognizable landmarks from completely unusual angles, resulting in photographs that are almost abstract.
Stunningly beautiful, literally breathtaking, and absolutely incredible—these are the works of Gabriel Scanu. By the way, summer is starting in Australia, so it's worth following his Instagram and YouTube for a daily dose of beauty and inspiration.
