The Dutch-Canadian photographer traveled the globe for 10 years to capture humanity's most impressive triumphs. Thirty-three-year-old Ryan Koopmans traveled to Asia, Africa, Europe, and North and South America to gather material for his ambitious book.
His photographs feature the stunning architecture of Dubai, Singapore, London, South Africa, Rotterdam, and Chicago. He finds the perfect angle for his photographs by climbing onto rooftops or even mountains. He sometimes uses a drone, but prefers to work with a regular, high-resolution camera.

Ryan Koopmans dedicated a whole decade to his passion, traveling the globe. Although he primarily photographed buildings, the master photographer's primary goal was to capture the human experience embodied in them. Population growth is leading to rapid urbanization and the emergence of megacities, each with its own unique charm.
