The Dutch-Canadian photographer traveled the globe for 10 years to capture humanity's most impressive triumphs. Thirty-three-year-old Ryan Koopmans traveled to Asia, Africa, Europe, and North and South America to gather material for his ambitious book.

His photographs feature the stunning architecture of Dubai, Singapore, London, South Africa, Rotterdam, and Chicago. He finds the perfect angle for his photographs by climbing onto rooftops or even mountains. He sometimes uses a drone, but prefers to work with a regular, high-resolution camera.
