The legendary photo project "Earth Seen from the Sky"
Yann Arthus-Bertrand is a French photographer, photojournalist, Chevalier of the Legion of Honor, and recipient of numerous other awards. He gained international renown for his series of aerial photographs of various corners of the Earth: the project "Earth from the Air" (1995). Arthus-Bertrand has published approximately 60 books featuring aerial photographs.
Three million books featuring his photographs have been sold worldwide.
