Red threads and boat frames: an impressive installation by a Japanese artist (5 photos)

At one of the last exhibitions in which Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota participated (the exhibition was held in Berlin), from September 17 you can see her installation - densely woven red yarn into which boat frames are woven. According to the artist, her creation, entitled “Uncertain Journey,” symbolizes communication networks. This is a kind of continuation of her installation “Key in Hand”, demonstrated at the Venice Biennale.
