French artist walled up in 12-ton stone (6 photos)
French artist Abraham Poincheval decided to understand the meaning of his life with the help of a week-long meditation course, which he will conduct in a 12-ton limestone block with a human silhouette carved into it. The stone was installed in the Palais de Tokyo museum of modern art, where they hope that visitors will perceive Poincheval’s actions not as a trick, but as a “mystical journey beyond the known.”
