Artist Liu Yunsheng was born in 1937 in Shandong Province in eastern China. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and won many professional awards. In China, Liu is considered a national artist.
The heroes of his paintings seem to have descended from the Tibetan heights, every stroke in Liu’s paintings is so real. Yunshen creates his works from memory: each subject is the artist’s memory of life in Tibet.
